60 days to go

00-9-Quotes-6-Be-Courageous-and-try-to-write....Today is my 31st post, and I have to admit, it’s been lots of fun to commit to writing and reflecting (almost) everyday. Making the time for it isn’t always easy, but like making the time for anything and committing to a goal. You just do it!

I have learned some things about myself over the last 30 days, and I am hoping to share some of these things in the weeks to come. For now, I’ll say, it’s been a huge way to decompress at the end of a long day or even begin a new day. Some mornings, it’s the first thing I do, and its quite rewarding to accomplish something so early in the day while drinking my cup of coffee. Writing everyday and thinking about people, experiences and issues that have been extremely important to me has also been rewarding. What I wasn’t really prepared for was how many people would be reading and following my writing, and I wasn’t prepared for how much I had to say. (I know some will find this hard to believe, of course.) I also wasn’t prepared for how it would help me with the research writing I have been doing. That’s been an excellent outcome of the blog. Like our heart and muscles, our brain likes lots of practice in what we want it to do.

Happy VD! Love to all!
